The only constraint on what we CANNOT do, is a lack of imagination.
In the short period since the Partnership was formed we have undertaken three major projects:

Community One Stop Shop.
Following the decision by Stratford District Council to close their Area Office in Shipston-on-Stour, the Partnership, with tremendous support from local town and parish councils, residents and voluntary groups successfully lobbied for this decision to be overturned and for the building to be leased to us to provide a Community One Stop Shop. Planning for this activity is well advanced and it is hoped that the office will re-open in the spring.
Stour Flood Defence Equipment Exhibition.
On behalf of Shipston Town Council, we organised and promoted an exhibition of flood defence equipment, to afford property owners along the River Stour with the opportunity to view solutions to protect their homes and businesses from potential future flood risks.
Stratford District Council “Beacon Market Place”.
The Directors are continually looking at opportunities to develop new initiatives for Shipston and were pleased to accept the invitation from Stratford District Council to exhibit at their “Beacon Market Place”.
A PowerPoint presentation was developed to explain the aims of objectives of the Town Management Partnership which attracted considerable interest from representatives of the Council and from many voluntary organisations who visited the event.

In order to fund future activities, the Partnership is permitted to apply for grants from government, the European Union, and private donors, some of which are not available to the Town Council. We continue to submit applications for those activities which will be of benefit to the broader community of Shipston.
